Order V, Rule 27.
Service on civil public officer or on servant of railway company or local authority:
Where the defendant is a public officer (not belonging to the armed forces of Bangladesh), or is the servant of the railway or local authority, the Court may, if it appears to it that the summons may be most conveniently so served, send it for service on the defendant to the head of the office in which he is employed, together with a copy to be retained by the defendant.

বেসামরিক সরকারি কর্মকর্তা অথবা রেলওয়ে কোম্পানীর কর্মচারী কিংবা স্থানীয় কর্তৃপক্ষের উপর সমন জারিঃ
যেক্ষেত্রে বিবাদী একজন সরকারি কর্মকর্তা (বাংলাদেশের সামরিক বাহিনীর অধীন নয়), অথবা রেলওয়ের কর্মচারী বা স্থানীয় কর্তৃপক্ষের কর্মচারী, সেক্ষেত্রে যদি আদালতের নিকট এটা প্রতীয়মান হয় যে, সমন খুবই সুবিধাজনকভাবে জারি হতে পারে, তবে বিবাদীর উপর জারির জন্য সংশ্লিষ্ট সমন ও বিবাদীকে প্রদান করার জন্য তার একটি নকল, বিবাদী যে অফিসে চাকুরী করে, সেই অফিসের প্রধান কর্মকর্তার বরাবরে প্রেরণ করতে পারে।
