Order V, Rule 3.
Court may order defendant or plaintiff to appear in person:
(1) Where the Court sees reason to require the personal appearance of the defendant, the summons shall order him to appear in person in Court on the day therein specified.
(2) Where the Court sees reason to require the personal appearance of the plaintiff on the same day, it shall make an order for such appearance.

আদেশ ৫, নিয়ম ৩।
বাদী বা বিবাদীকে আদালত ব্যক্তিগতভাবে হাজির হওয়ার আদেশ প্রদান করতে পারেনঃ
(১) যদি আদালত যৌক্তিক কারণে অনুধাবন করেন যে, বিবাদীর ব্যক্তিগতভাবে হাজির হওয়ার প্রয়োজন আছে, তাহলে সমনে উল্লিখিত দিনে তাকে ব্যক্তিগতভাবে আদালতে হাজির থাকার আদেশ প্রদান করবেন।
(২) যদি আদালত যৌক্তিক কারণে অনুধাবন করেন যে, একই তারিখে বাদীরও ব্যক্তিগতভাবে হাজির হওয়ার প্রয়োজন আছে, তবে আদালত বাদীর হাজির থাকার আদেশও প্রদান করবে।
