Section 44A. Execution of decrees passed by Courts in the United Kingdom and other reciprocating territory:
(1) Where a certified copy of a decree of any of the superior Courts of any reciprocating territory has been filed in a District Court, the decree may be executed in Bangladesh as if it had been passed by the District Court.
(2) Together with the certified copy of the decree shall be filed a certificate from such superior Court stating the extent, if any, to which the decree has been satisfied or adjusted and such certificate shall, for the purposes of proceedings under this section, be conclusive proof of the extent of such satisfaction or adjustment.
(3) The provisions of section 47 shall as from the filing of the certified copy of the decree apply to the proceedings of a District Court executing a decree under this section, and the District Court shall refuse execution of any such decree, if it is shown to the satisfaction of the Court that the decree falls within any of the exceptions specified in clauses (a) to (f) of section 13.

Explanation 2:
“Reciprocating territory” means any country or territory as the Government may, from time to time, by notification in the official Gazette, declare to be reciprocating territory for the purposes of this section; and “Superior Courts”, with reference to any such territory, means such Courts as may be specified in the said notification.
Explanation 3:
“Decree”, with reference to a superior Court, means any decree or judgement of such Court under which a sum of money is payable, not being a sum payable in respect of taxes or other charges of a like nature or in respect of a fine or other penalty, and

(b) in no case includes an arbitration award, even if such award is enforceable as a decree or judgement.
ধারা ৪৪এ। যুক্তরাজ্য বা অপর কোন পারস্পারিক সম্বন্ধযুক্ত দেশ দ্বারা প্রদত্ত ডিক্রি জারিঃ
(১) যেক্ষেত্রে কোন পারস্পারিক সহযোগীতাকারী দেশের যে কোন ঊর্ধ্বতন আদালতের ডিক্রির সহিমোহরকৃত নকল কোন জেলা আদালতে পেশ করা হয়েছে সেক্ষেত্রে জেলা আদালত কর্তৃক ডিক্রি প্রদান করা হয়েছিল মর্মে এটি বাংলাদেশে জারি হতে পারে।
(২) ডিক্রির প্রত্যায়নকৃত নকলের সঙ্গে ডিক্রির দাবী সমন্বয় করা হয়েছে এর বর্ণনাপূর্বক উক্তরূপ ঊর্ধ্বতন আদালত হতে প্রত্যায়নপত্র পেশ করতে হবে ও উক্ত ধারার অধীনে কার্যক্রমের উদ্দেশ্যে সেই প্রত্যায়নপত্র উক্তরূপ দাবী সমন্বয় এর আওতা সম্পর্কে চূড়ান্ত প্রমাণ হবে।
(৩) ডিক্রির প্রত্যায়নকৃত নকল পেশ হতে ৪৭ নম্বর ধারার বিধানাবলী উক্ত ধারার অধীনে ডিক্রি নির্বাহী জেলা আদালতে কার্যক্রমে প্রযোজ্য হবে, ও যদি আদালতেরম সন্তোষজনক অবস্থাসহ দর্শান যায় যে, ডিক্রিটি ১৩ নম্বর ধারার (এ) হতে (এফ) দফায় আলোচিত যে কোন ব্যতিক্রমের অধীন হয় তবে জেলা আদালত উক্তরূপ কোন ডিক্রি জারিতে অস্বীকৃতি জানাবে।

“পারস্পারিক সহযোগীতাকারী দেশ” বলতে উক্ত ধারার উদ্দেশ্যে বিভিন্ন সময় সরকারি গেজেটে বিজ্ঞপ্তির মাধ্যমে পারস্পারিক সহযোগিতাকারী বলে সরকার কর্তৃক ঘোষিত দেশ অথবা রাজ্যকে বুঝায় ও অনুরূপ কোন রাজ্য সম্পর্কে “ঊর্ধ্বতন আদালত” বলতে উক্তরূপ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে বর্ণিত অনুরূপ আদালতকে বুঝায়।
ব্যাখ্যা ৩ঃ
ঊর্ধ্বতন আদালতের “ডিক্রি” বলতে কর বা একই ধরনের অন্যান্য দায় সম্পর্কিত কিংবা অন্য সাজা সম্পর্কিত বা জরিমানা অথবা অন্য সাজা সম্পর্কিত প্রদানযোগ্য অর্থ নয়, এরকমই প্রদানযোগ্য অর্থের জন্য নির্দেশকারী ঐধরনের আদালতের ডিক্রি বা রায়কে বুঝানো হয়, এবং
(এ) বিলুপ্ত
(বি) ডিক্রি অথবা রায় হিসেবে যদিও কার্যকরী হয় তথাপি সালিশের রোয়েদাদকে কোন ক্ষেত্রেই অন্তর্ভূক্ত করে না।
