Order I, Rule 7.
When plaintiff in doubt from whom redress is to be sought:
Where the plaintiff is in doubt as to the person from whom he is entitled to obtain redress, he may join two or more defendants in order that the question as to which of the defendants is liable, and to what extent, may be determined as between all parties.

আদেশ ১, নিয়ম ৭।
কার বিরুদ্ধে প্রতিকার দাবী করতে হবে, সে সম্পর্কে যখন বাদীর সন্দেহ থাকেঃ
প্রতিকার লাভের অধিকার কার বিরুদ্ধে সে বিষয়ে বাদীর সন্দেহযুক্ত হলে, সেই লোক দুই বা ততোধিক বিবাদীর মধ্যে কোন বিবাদী দায়ী এবং কি পরিমাণ দায়ী সেই প্রশ্নটি সকল পক্ষের মধ্যে নির্ধারণ করার জন্য নিযুক্ত করতে পারবে।
