Order V, Rule 18.
Endorsement of time and manner of service:
The serving officer shall, in all cases in which the summons has been served under rule 16, endorse or annex, or cause to be endorsed or annexed, on or to the original summons, a return stating the time when and the manner in which the summons were served, and the name and address of the person (if any) identifying the person served and witnessing the delivery or tender of the summons.

জারির সময় ও পদ্ধতি উল্লেখঃ
যেক্ষেত্রে বিধি ১৬ মোতাবেক সমন জারি করা হয়েছে, সেক্ষেত্রে জারিকারক কর্মকর্তা কোন সময় এবং কোন প্রক্রিয়ায় সমন জারি করা হয়েছে, তা এবং যে লোক সমন গ্রহণকারীকে সনাক্ত করেছে এবং সমন অর্পণ বা প্রদান করা প্রত্যক্ষ করেছে, তার নাম ও ঠিকানা (যদি থাকে) সম্বলিত একটি প্রতিবেদন মূল সমনের সাথে লিপিবদ্ধ করে তৎসঙ্গে গ্রথিত অন্য কাগজে লিখে আদালতে পেশ করবে।
