Order VI, Rule 2.
Pleading to state material facts and not evidence:
Every pleading shall contain, and contain only, a statement in a concise form of the material facts on which the party pleading relies for his claim or defence, as the case may be, but not the evidence by which they are to be proved, and shall, when necessary, be divided into paragraphs, numbered consecutively. Dates, sums and numbers shall be expressed in figures.

গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ঘটনাদি আরজি জবাবে বিবৃত করতে হবে কিন্তু সাক্ষ্য বা প্রমাণ নয়ঃ
প্রত্যেক আরজি জবাব শুধুমাত্র যেসব তথ্যের উপর ভিত্তি করে দরখাস্তকারী (আবেদনকারী) তার দাবী উত্থাপন বা আত্মপক্ষ সমর্থন করে, সে সব তথ্যাবলীর সংক্ষিপ্ত বিবরণ দান করতে হবে, এতদসম্বন্ধীয় প্রমাণাদি দরখাস্তে উল্লেখ করার দরকার নাই। আরজি জবাব প্রয়োজন মাফিক বিভিন্ন পংক্তিতে বিভক্ত হবে এবং পংক্তিগুলোতে ক্রমিক নম্বর দেওয়া হবে। তারিখ, টাকার পরিমাণ ও সংখ্যা অংকে প্রকাশিত হবে।
